Shame on you Bud Selig ...
The N.Y. Mets wanted to honor the first responders on the 10th Anniversary of 9/11. Bud Selig, the commissioner of Major League Baseball, denied their request to wear ball caps honoring the NYC Fire and Police Depts. during the game. The Mets were allow to wear the caps pre-game.
This same team was allowed to wear the FDNY and NYPD caps 10 years earlier for the entire game.
